Moni - Rooney !!

Playing football is always a fun !! I started playing football during college days, with my 'amateur ' group of friends. We use to play in the morning, in our college ground. Usually, this ground is full of morning joggers and walkers. We never pose danger to these joggers and walkers, because our strength wouldnt go more than five!!. We had a bunch of guys, who use to say "we will meet in the morning" but never turn up!! When enquired about there absent , they use to say "Hey sorry man, I woke up for the first alarm itself but thought of sleeping for just 5min, later forgot to getup!!". Bored of listening these "suprabhathas", we were playing in a small group. FIFA world cup had just concluded, we were trying to compare our-self to famed European footballers. On one Saturday morning , we were practicing football in our college grounds. We had two teams, most of them are new to me, because it comprises of our old seniors, outsiders and medical college students also. In the middle of the game, I noticed Mohan sitting outside the field so I called him to join our team. He had come to field to practice cricket, because this " out-of-form- opener" was struggling to get in to the form. He was a "lucky opener" in our Mechanical team, even-though he dont score in the match, opening an innings by him was "definite win" for his team. So, he survived in our college team based on this "lucky opener" label and not by his performance. When I called him to play football, initially he was unwilling to play, but accepted because of his "broad heart". He was clad with jeans and with neat full arm shirt and looks like a gentle man(Obviously! he was here to play gentleman cricket). When I tried to say some of the rules and which position he has to play, he said " I know the damn rules! and I know where to play". So, I said" Its your wish". So, he choosed the striker position!! and the game begins. He started kicking the ball and able to manage to take ball near the opposite goalpost. This Lucky cricketer (Mohan) turned first time footballer was resembling the young "Wayne Rooney" and was playing tricky to miss the ball form the opposite defender. When he was suppose to strike the ball to the goal post, one of the defender (opposite) came and checked Moni, with his strong legs. Moni fell on the ground with loud sound (like when you throw the bundle of news paper on the ground). When everyone gathered around him, he was laying on the ground with ash(not bollywood) like dust on his face and his jeans was torn out.
In no time, blood started coming form his palm, chin etc.. but he didnt notice and was trying to recover form the heavy jolt given by the defender. One of the medical student who was in the game told him to put his bleeding palm inside his mounth, then only he realized that his palm is cut open. So, he agreed and put bleeding palm inside his mouth. When everyone were pity about the situation, in a flash of a min he removed his bleeding palm form his mouth and said" O! sh*t , I dont like my blood, Its not spicy!!!!"

Moni- Mruthyu!!

Human beings encounters animals(including insects) form the ages! But the death rate of human by mosquito tops the list. In a retaliate human with his "hi-tech-liquidator " causing nightmare for mosquitoes. Mosquitoes causes malaria, dengue, brain fever and yellow fever(in African jungle). Common people were not aware of "chikungunya" till the recent outbreak. Those days were terrible to remember, if a person in a family gets chikungunya it use to spread to whole family (family sentiment). DVG also witnessed the epidemic of chikungunya. As we all know there is no place for "kind people" in the world, our "kind Mohan" was also infected by this "not-so-deadly" chikungunya. Immediately, he was shifted to Bapuji hospital by his relatives(he was staying in his relative home). Since he didnt come to college, I gave him a missed cal to know his whereabouts. He informed me that he is admitted in the hospital. Later, I told my group of friends about him so we decided to visit hospital. But we all agreed not to stay for long time in the hospital(because we may get infected). Even though we were ready to give our lives to beloved Mohan, but not interested to get affected by CG(its very painful). When we went there, the "fair guy" turned "dark" was laying on the bed. Since, we went there without taking any fruits (symbol of sympathy)Mohan started scolding "O! you guys came here for free movie without fruits ..Ok atleast a pound of bread". Usually, we dont carry it, because we talk fruitful words (they why fruits). So, I stared talking to take "Kadli hospital revenge" telling "Mohan, I read in newspaper there is no death because of chikungunya in DVG yet you can open a account!!" He said "I dont think so, because I have been treating by a good doctor". When he was telling this, he was very confident. But I didnt stop n said "No man, you look so ill and very near to death, these are all just pre-death formalities, moreover I have promised news agents to give first chickungunya death in DVG, so you have to die". In a confident voice he replied "Sorry guru, you cant fulfill your promise, because the doctor who is treating me is MRUTHYUNJAYA (doctor's name)!!

Moni-Shani...

I brought up in a environment where nividye(breakfast for god)is served first, later to my hungry stomach. I was very much influenced by Mother's Pooja, Vrathas, Upavasa and strict no for Nov-veg on special days. I also cultivated the habit of going for temple on Thursdays and Saturdays. I do perform Poojas, chant Mantras etc .. more than the "modern 2000 AD" girls. My mother was also happy with my ""divine habit" and use to suggest list of poojas which I should strictly perform for "getting good omen". She had visited a astrologer to know about my "future". That god-man had suggested to go to Shanimahatma temple for 5 weeks, without missing. She informed me about this, as I am the "MAMAs'SON" i agreed. The next Saturday myself and Mohan went to "Mulit-utility Temple" (has Hanuman, Ganesha and Shanimahatma in a signle campus)near to my home. Mohan was clad with 'low jeans' and a short shirt! so I requested him to be cautious (warbode malfunction!) while doing "namaskar"(on kneels). later, I lit the dias(deepa)in front of Shani temple and went on making eleven rounds around the Shani temple. As I finished my rounding and wishing for good omen, I noticed mohan offering "namaskara on kneels"(bend on his kneels). I was shocked, went to him and said "Hey, what are you doing, you should not bend infornt of 'God shani', because he will get on your shoulder man and you will have bad luck for the future". So, he replied " hey hold on guru! I bend on my kneels to allow "Shani" to get down form my shoulder"

Moni-Granny ...

I still remember it was "make omelet" type temperature in Yadgiri, (Dist: Gulbarga). Since I had visited for 15days trip with my family, I got high fever there. College was supposed to reopen in a couple of days, so I came and got admit in infamous "Kadli Hospital" DVG. All my neighbors and friends visited hospital to say "get well soon". Mohan also came to hospital and started telling "man you are so sick, probably you will die in a day or two". Sometimes, I do feel because doctor had told "if you were late by a day, even I could have done nothing". So, I thanked God for saving. A granny was admitted next to me was severe ill. She had undergone a operation (dont know what operation) and use to cry for unable to bear the pain. Seeing this kind of agony in my ward I insisted to change it. The 'beautiful' nurse agree to shift me in the evening. A hour later Mohan came talking over phone, holding the phone he was inquiring about my health. But he was chanting his mantra "man you are so sick, probably you will die in a day or two". A minute that granny started moaning high... I said mohan "See man I am very pity for this granny, she is groaning since yesterday". Later Mohan opened his mobile and he put on his recorder.. I asked him "what are you doing". He replied "I am recording her voice, to make my new ring tone !!!!!!"
